1999 Waimea Estates Chardonnay

Bright, deep straw colour with pale gold hue. Aroma of toast and biscuit with a hint of honey, over a background of yeast lees and fig. The palate displays generous fruit flavours with creamy mouthfeel. Flavours of butterscotch, melon and fig. Crisp acid finish, followed by melon, fig aftertaste.
