1999 Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

An outstanding, refined Cabernet. Very deep black crimson colour with ruby hue. The blackcurrant notes are to the forefront and are followed by cedar, liquorice, truffle and spice with just a hint of tea leaf which in this instance adds further complexity. The palate is stylish and refined with Bordeaux like structure. The Cabernet flavours dominate with distinct blackcurrant followed by an earth and leather back palate. Fine grained tannins followed by a blackcurrant, earth and spice aftertaste.
