A consistent performer and one that improves with a few years cellaring. Medium body, crimson mauve colour. Aroma of spice, plum and liquorice followed by a hint of truffle. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel with spice, liquorice and blackcurrant flavours dominant. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, with aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and cedar. Cellar 3-4 years.
