1999 Tyrrell's Lost Block Semillon

This wine is only 10.3% Alcohol Volume and at this level of ripeness one almost expects a glass of acid, however, the wine has an unusually ripe aroma and palate flavour.Bright pale straw colour with green film. The nose is lifted with aromas of ripe melon and tropical fruit, totally unexpected from Hunter Semillon. On the palate citrus and grapefruit flavours abound, good texture and mouthfeel followed by a crisp acid finish. Cellar 1-2 years.
