1999 Tedeschi Capital Monte Olmi Amarone

This outstanding example of Amarone has been made from a variety of Italian grapes including Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Rosignola, Oseleta, Negrara and Dindarella. Very dark brick red colour with brick red tawny hue. Aroma of toffee, molasses, spice and liquorice bar followed by a hint of marmite. The palate is an explosion of flavour – a concentrate of raisins, molasses, spice and white pepper. Dry, fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of raisins and plum cake.
