1999 Taylors Cabernet Sauvignon

A very youthful red, that ideally needs to be forgotten for at least a couple of years and more likely 4-5. Outstanding dense colour - totally opaque crimson black, purple, very youthful. On the nose the youthful nature of the wine re emerges with aromas of spice, cinnamon, mixed berries, ink and liquorice. On the palate excellent full bodied, but youthful flavours. Spice, liquorice, blackcurrant and cinnamon. Fine, firm tannins with very firm grip and long inky blackcurrant, spice aftertaste.
