1999 Tasca D'Almerita Regaleali Rosso

This wine is made from two grape varieties not known to Australian wine consumers – Perricone and Nero d’Avola. Crimson brick red colour. Medium body. Excellent perfumed nose of prunes, raspberries and spice – very aromatic. On the palate, flavours of spice, confectionary, new leather and prunes. Soft tannins with perfect balance followed by an aftertaste of prune, stewed fruit and spice.
