1999 Stonehaven Limited Vineyard Release Chardonnay

This wine has been 100% barrel fermented. Brassy gold colour showing both bottle development and oxidative handling. Complex layers of aroma with yeast lees, hazelnut, butterscotch and biscuit. The palate is mouthfilling with citrus, grapefruit, toasted oak, yeast lees, cashew and almond flavours over a creamy textured background. Very long aftertaste of butterscotch, strong spice and citrus over yeast lees and nut.
