Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. Distinct varietal nose, with aroma of ripe plums and confectionary, followed by notes of leather, dark chocolate and earth. The palate has flavours of stewed fruit and sour cherry, with traces of blackpepper emerging on the back palate. Dry tannins with stewed fruit and sour cherry aftertaste.

Very deep crimson mauve colour, with deep mauve hue. Aroma of plum, spice, cedar, stewed fruit, followed by a hint of dark chocolate. The palate displays very good length, with flavours of spice, plum and blackpepper. Fine grained firmish tannins, followed by a long aftertaste of stewed fruit, spice and plum.
