1999 Seville Estate Chardonnay

A very well made Chardonnay driven by a formulated approach that has produced a very competent wine but with no surprises. Bright, pale gold colour. Aromas of spice, cinnamon, yeast lees and butterscotch followed by nut and roasted oak end notes. The palate displays very good intensity with citrus, butterscotch, cinnamon flavours followed by spice and yeast lees back palate flavours. Clean crisp acidity followed by aftertaste of fig, melon and butterscotch. Cellar 2-3 years.
