Very deep crimson mauve colour. Aroma of spice, chocolate, plum, cedar and vanilla followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate displays ripe plum spice flavours, with distinct blackberry and black pepper end palate flavours. Fine grained firmish tannins. The wine remains a little unbalanced and needs time to settle in. Aftertaste of ripe plums, spice and liquorice.
