1999 Rouge Homme Coonawarra Cabernet Merlot

Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson edge. Aroma of dark chocolate, spice, vanilla and blackcurrant, followed by a marzipan end note. The palate flavours are relatively tight, yet yield mouthfilling flavours of chocolate, blackcurrant, spice and earth. Fine grained, dry lingering tannins, followed by an aftertaste of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and liquorice. Cellar 3 - 4 years. (2004 - 2005)
