Grape Varieties: Nero d’Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: The island of Sicily in the region of Marsala and Alcamo.
Vinification: The grapes are hand harvested and fermented at a controlled temperature. The wine is placed in oak barrique for one year and then spends a further eight months in the bottle before release.
Characteristics: Intense ruby colour with orange tints. It has a delicate aroma of tobacco and black pepper. The palate is dry and harmonious with a soft velvet finish. It has a balanced mature tannin finish.
Serve: at approximately 18°C
Try With: Roasted meats, pasta dishes and tasty cheese.
