Black crimson colour with mauve hue. Aroma of liquorice, blackpepper, ripe plum, vanilla and spice. The palate is very peppery with flavours of stewed plum and stewed fruit emerging. On the back palate, there is the flavour of tar, vanilla and liquorice emerging. Fine grained tannins followed by a long blackpepper stewed fruit and liquorice aftertaste.

An excellent Shiraz from the King Valley. Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. The nose is impressive, with lifted aroma of spice and blackberry over a delicate liquorice background. The palate shows considerable strength, with very strong blackpepper character. Flavours of ripe blackberry, spice and plum with a touch of liquorice. Fine grained dry tannins, followed by a very long aftertaste of spice, vanilla, cinnamon and blackpepper.
