A well made commercial wine. Medium body, crimson colour with mauve edges. Aroma of toasted oak, plum, spice, and blackcurrant followed by a hint of raspberry and earth as end notes. On the palate, the stewed fruit flavours are dominant, leaving the plum and spice in the background. Good palate weight with stewed fruits and spice aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
