1999 Pauletts Polish Hill River Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour, with mauve edge. Aroma of truffle, earth, Rhone like, with lifted notes of ripe plum and confectionary. The palate is relatively straightforward, with flavours of stewed fruit, plum, spice and leather. Fine dry tannins followed by a stewed fruit and spice aftertaste. Cellar 2 – 3 years. (2003 – 2004)
