Very deep brick red colour. Aroma of leather, game and raspberry, over an earthy end note. Palate flavours of earth and leather, with hints of spice and stalk in the background. The palate lacks varietal character. Fine, soft tannins, followed by stalky spice aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years (2003-2004).
