1999 Melbourne Wine Company Pinot Noir

A very young Pinot Noir is drinking well right now. Light weight with mauve colour. Lifted fresh, youthful cherry, raspberry, spice nose. In spite of the light colour and density of the wine, the flavours are quite generous with ripe cherry, raspberry and plum dominant. Excellent balance, velvet smooth tannins, with very long stoned fruit taste. Drink over the next 1-2 years.
