1999 Meerea Park Alexander Munro Semillon

An excellent example of Hunter Valley Semillon, made from 35 year old vines. Bright, pale gold colour with green hue. The wine is still developing. Notes of honey and toast are followed by a delicate ‘kero’ character showing the influence of some bottle age. The palate is dominated by a lemon back bone, followed by honey and toast flavours. The acidity is well balanced. Long aftertaste of lemon and honey.
