Region: Surrounding the village Montalcino in the region of Tuscany.
Characteristics: A wine produced to be enjoyed much earlier than a Brunello di Montalcino. 12 months oak ageing gives this wine a supple, fresh style with considerable stature and richness. Deep red in colour with a lifted nose of forest berries and a little aniseed. It finishes well rounded with good length.
Serve: 18-20° C
Try it with: Bistecca alla Fiorentina.
