Deep crimson colour with mauve edges. Aroma of spice, mulberry, liquorice and a touch of fresh anise. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel, but little depth or persistence. Flavours of mulberry, smokey oak and plum are integrated by fine grained tannins. Excellent balance with aftertaste of chocolate, mulberry and spice, followed by a hint of liquorice. Cellar 2-3 years.
