A well made light, commercial quaffer. Light ruby red colour. Cherry, spice, pepper and plum nose. Spice and stewed fruit palate flavours with some plum evident. Soft tannins, easy to quaff, light plum and stewed fruit aftertaste. Drink over summer as a light red.

Retasted May 2000

Medium to light body with crimson colour and mauve edges. Lifted aromatic nose with good appeal - aroma of spice, cinnamon and raspberry. On the palate there are inky raspberry flavours with the characteristics of freshly squeezed blackberry. Well made, fine grained tannins, followed by inky raspberry aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
