The multi-district blends made by Lindemans and originally released as Lindemans Bin 50 Burgundy have nearly 40 years of history. Their success and popularity over the years is founded upon their consistency, quality and affordable price. This wine is a fine example of the contemporary Lindemans Bin 50 Shiraz style. The 1999 Bin 50 demonstrates the skilful blending of grapes from some of South Eastern Australia's most notable wine regions. 1999 will be remembered for the production of good quality grapes, particularly for reds.
Maturation: Partially matured in American and French oak barrels.

Tasting Note:
Deep plum colour, with a crimson rim. The bouquet shows an assortment of aromas including black pepper, nutmeg, ginger and raspberry cheesecake. The attractive and enticing nature of the bouquet is duplicated on the palate, which is succulent, soft and mouth-watering. The wine features fruit flavours of blueberries and mulberries with spicy, slight black pepper characters. A smooth, velvet like tannin structure frames these characters. Drink over the next year.
