Koppamurra is situated in the township of Joanna, North of Coonawarra, where the soils are terra rossa composition with limestone underlay.
Very deep crimson colour with mauve edges. The nose displays flavours of earth, spice and leather followed by blackcurrant and plum. The palate structure is quite elegant, rather light, and will evolve. Flavours of spice, leather and blackcurrant emerge, supported by dry, dusty tannins and a long plum, blackcurrant spice aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
