1999 Kingston Estate Merlot

Medium body, crimson colour with mauve edges. The nose displays some fruity aromas, followed by notes of inky berry, cinnamon, marzipan and stewed fruits. On the palate the flavours of inky berries, spice and mulberry are supported by a cinnamon oak background. Good length, fine, firmish tannins, followed by cinnamon, spice and inky berry aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
