1999 Kies Family Lyndoch Hills Shiraz

This wine clearly demonstrates the underlying problem of Kies Family red wines – lack of colour. Medium body brick red colour, looking very old and tired. The nose displays aromas that are associated with a much older wine, and are prematurely developed. Stewed fruit, prune and spice, simple, with a hint of leather. Stewed fruit, leather aftertaste. Drink up.
