An attractive wine, but without the depth or complexity of Kay Brothers Shiraz or Cabernet.Opaque black crimson colour. Excellent aromatic nose with aroma of vanilla, spice and mulberry, finishing with a liquorice all sorts end note. The palate lets the wine down being a touch dilute with the fruit flavours fading. Flavours of truffle and earth over spiced plum, fine grained, soft tannins, with a dusty dry quality. Aftertaste of vanilla and liquorice all sorts. Cellar 3-4 years.
