Deep crimson mauve colour. Very impressive for Pinot Noir. Aroma of charred oak, spice and a hint of game with end notes of liquorice, cherry and plum. On the palate the characteristics of the nose are echoed with cherry, liquorice flavour dominant. Good weight, but without depth. Fine grained soft tannins, followed by a cherry, spice and liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
