A very classy wine, but what a disaster of a label. Ian Home in an attempt to create a new ‘label’ has opted for a piece of post modern pop art, with a citrus yellow coloured label, supported by two big black circles. This is one wine you’ll ask the waiter to keep the napkin wrapped around. The wine - very impressive.

Brilliant pale straw colour, subtle, Grand Cru Chablis like nose, with aroma of biscuit, nut and yeast lees, complex multi layered palate with flavours of roast almonds, biscuit and yeast lees - very reminiscent of a top champagne base. Excellent length and persistence of flavour- very refined, clean crisp finish with citrus and nut aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
