A wine with plenty of character. Matured for 16 months in old French oak. The wine shows very deep crimson colour. Aroma of mint, earth, stewed fruits, a hint of iodine followed by a new leather end note. The palate displays excellent weight with abundant flavours of ripe plum over a black pepper background followed by end flavours of spice and stewed fruit. Velvet smooth tannins with long stewed fruits aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
