The Dalmore distillery has ten stone warehouses and eight pot-stills, several which date back to the late 1800s. Much of the distillery burned down during World War I while occupied by the U.S. Navy, but production resumed in 1922. It was reputedly the first Single Malt to be exported to Australia. Now owned by Whyte & Mackay Ltd, the production process includes double distillations in copper pot-stills and aging in x bourbon oak and x sherry wood casks. The house style is typically rich, sweet and sherried.

Distilled at Dalmore in 1999, this is a medium-bodied, fruity Highland dram from independent bottlers Gordon and MacPhail. It was aged in refill sherry hogsheads.
