A well made, commercial wine. Medium body, deep crimson colour. Appealing nose, with aroma of spice, confectionary, liquorice, blackcurrant and vanilla. On the palate, ripe berry fruit flavours emerge over a background of plums, vanilla and spice. Fine grained firmish tannins, followed by an aftertaste of liquorice, vanilla and plum. Cellar 2-3 years.
