Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson edges. Aroma of truffle, spice and blackcurrant followed by spice and dark plum end notes. The palate flavours are relatively short with prominent flavours of spice, blackcurrant, truffle and a touch of liquorice. There is a faint herbaceous back palate flavour creeping in, but it is acceptable. Earth and spice aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
