Very deep crimson colour. The nose has that distinctive Rhone Hermitage inspired quality, with strong animal overtones. Aroma of earth, leather and truffle. On the palate the animal characteristics are well meshed with flavours of over ripe plums, stewed fruit, truffle and spice, fine grained dry tannins, followed by long leather, earth, plum aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
