1999 Eyton On Yarra Chardonnay

One of the best wines to emerge from Eyton on Yarra thus far.Bright pale gold colour. The nose displays complexity which is followed through to the palate. Aroma of biscuit, hazelnut, yeast lees, butterscotch, spice and melon. Full bodied palate, creamy texture, with flavours of butterscotch, toasted oak, and yeast lees back palate flavours. The acid levels are satisfactory for the short term. Aftertaste of spice and nuts, with yeast lees, persisting long into the aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
