This wine should be drunk. Viognier does not seem to hold up well to bottle age, and tends to broaden and flatten out after a couple of years. Bright pale gold colour, showing bottle age. Aroma of honeysuckle, baked apple, with hints of walnut and lees. The palate is showing early oxidisation, with flavours of nut, honey and yeast lees emerging. Relatively short. Soft acid finish.
