1999 Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot Gevrey Chambertin 1st Cru Les Craipillot

Vintaged from a great year and bottled at the Domaine. The wine displays crimson colour with brick red hue. Medium body. Aroma of earth, strawberry jam, cherry, and spice. On the palate there is a hint of freshly crushed strawberry juice with hints of leather, plum and stewed fruit, with subtle sour cherry back palate. Fine grained tannins, followed by a long cherry strawberry and spice aftertaste.
