1999 Delatite Chardonnay

This wine is drinking well now. Brilliant gold colour with deep straw hue, showing good bottle development. Top notes of biscuit, yeast lees, toast and honey, followed by a restrained butterscotch end note. Full bodied palate with good length. Flavours of toasted oak, biscuit and cashew. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees.
