1999 De Bortoli Windy Peak Cabernet Shiraz Merlot

A well made wine. Medium body, crimson mauve colour. The nose is quite subtle with delicate aroma of earth, spice and blackcurrant emerging. Straightforward palate with flavours of plum, stewed fruit and blackcurrant, supported by fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice. Cellar 2-3 years.
