Deep purple colour with dark brick-red hues. The nose is an exotic mix of spice and pepper, fresh red berry fruits and subtle French oak. The aroma is intoxicating with the potential in three years time to be the most sophisticated Dalwhinnie Shiraz ever. The palate is extremely complex. A wonderful blend of exotic fruit, spice and oak. A wine with considerable poise and great length on the palate. Superbly structured with richness and full flavours.An outstanding Dalwhinnie Shiraz showing style and finesse with superb varietal character. Very elegant and sophisticated, this will prove to be one of the great years. Once again the glorious fruit is complemented by the oak, producing another beautifully balanced wine. Keep for 3 years then drink over the next 10.
