A well made commercial style. Light weight, with crimson colour and mauve edge. Lifted nose of raspberry, cherry and spice followed by confectionery end notes. On the palate there are inky, raspberry earthen flavours with a background of confectionery and liquorice all sorts. Soft acid and tannins, with aftertaste of ripe cherries and plum. Cellar 1-2 years.
