A magnificent central Victorian Cabernet. Ian Leamon has managed to create a wine which has both sophistication and great power, and whilst a generous 15% alcohol the wine displays no hint of jamminess or overripe fruit flavour. The dominant feature of the wine is the concentration of flavour and the profound aftertaste.

Very deep crimson black colour, with deep crimson and mauve edges. Superb nose – a joy to sniff, with layers of mint, blackcurrant, spice, cedar and dark chocolate. The palate flavours are totally mouthfilling – a concentrate of blackcurrant, redcurrant, liquorice, spice, mint and mocha. Incredible length and depth. Velvet smooth, silky tannins create a seamless transition onto the aftertaste which adds another dimension to the wine by lasting a minimum of 5 minutes in the mouth. That’s all the good news! The bad news is that we only have 10 cases.
