A classic ripe Barossa Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson mauve edges. The nose displays very ripe notes of plum, stewed fruit, spice, blackpepper, toasted oak and vanilla. The palate has very good length and complexity, with flavours of spice, plum and toasted oak. Fine grained, soft tannin structure, followed by a long plum, liquorice and toasted oak aftertaste.
Cellar 3 – 4 years. (2004 – 2005)
