1999 Cave De Tain L'Hermitage Crozes Hermitage

Very deep crimson black colour, with deep crimson hue. 'Perfumed' nose with aroma of violets, spice and black cherries. The palate structure is tight and whilst it has body, the wine lacks length and is overwhelmed by fine, very firm tannins. The tannins persist long into the aftertaste, with cherry and spice after flavour.
