This wine is showing a lot of bottle development. Deep brick red colour. Aroma of old leather, tar, prune and cedar followed by a hint of raisin as an end note. On the palate, prune, cedar and raisin flavours emerge with a dried raisin back palate. Dry tannins, quite persistent and running through onto the aftertaste.

Made from a blend of 85% Montelpulciano d’Abruzzo and 15% Aglianico (an ancient Italian grape variety.) The wine has been matured in French oak barriques. Brick red colour. Medium body. The wine displays aromas of old and new leather, cedar and spice. On the palate flavours of spice, old leather and cedar emerge followed by a hint of prune and stewed fruit. Soft tannins but in perfect balance followed by a very long aftertaste.
