A great value for money wine. Opaque crimson mauve colour. Aromas of spice, earth, leather, hints of ‘animal’ followed by blackberry end notes. Excellent weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of ripe plums, spice, toasted oak, liquorice, and earth. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, followed by an earth, plum, spice and liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
