An outstanding value for money red and a very welcome arrival. Produced from 30-50 year old Barossa Vines. Very deep crimson colour with mauve edge. Intense nose of blackberry, toasted oak, blackpepper spice and plum. Excellent palate weight with strong spicy plum, blackcurrant and blackpepper flavours. Excellent length and balance with fine grained tannins and very long blackpepper, plum, spice and vanilla aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
