1998 Tatachilla Cabernet Sauvignon

Tatachilla continues to produce first quality wine at all price points. The recent merger with St. Hallet should see the company become an even stronger force amongst the middle sized Australian wine producers. The wine has been matured in new and one year old French oak. Outstanding, opaque crimson / black colour. Aromas of vanilla and confectionery. The palate is equally impressive with chocolate, blackcurrant and liquorice flavours dominant. Excellent palate weight, fine grained, firmish tannins, but well balanced with long blackcurrant and liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
