Grape Varieties: Nero D’Avola and Perricone
Region: The Regaleali area on the southern island of Sicily.
Vinification: The vines are over 40 years old. After handpicking and fermentation of grapes the wine is aged in small French oak for at least a year followed by time in the bottle in the cellar before release.
Characteristics: Dark ruby red with a rich nose of sweet spice and berries. The palate is long with a smooth finish and elegant oak.
Serve: at room temperature and decant if possible.
Try With: Rich meats, goat and Lamb, vegetable bakes and Pasta.
