An outstanding wine, produced from 50 year old vines. Very deep crimson mauve colour. Superb nose, with aroma of cedar, spice, dark chocolate followed by notes of mocha, blackcurrant and violets. Magnificent palate structure and flavour. Intense spice, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and cedar flavours, displaying outstanding length and depth. Velvet smooth tannin structure. Perfect balance followed by an exceptionally long aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and plum.
